“Play and create music” by Piano Comics is a book that introduces the principles of music theory and basic piano skills to children aged 4 to 12. It is designed for piano teachers and beginner students. The book was created to help children embarking on their musical journey discover that music is already present in our everyday lives and that its building blocks -music theory- are simple to understand, engaging and fun. Its five chapters teach music keys on both clefs, rhythmical values, counting six dynamics six tempos and their changes, three articulations, semitones, tones, sharps and flats. What  makes this book unique is the humour with which these concepts are presented, making the learning process both captivating and memorable.

Anastasia Kaminskagia is a graduate of the ‘National Music Academy P. Vladigerov’ in Sofia,
Bulgaria, where she obtained both Bachelor and Master degree in ‘Piano Performance’.
She has 20 years of pedagogical experience and for the past seven years has been working
with preschool children from the age of four.
Miss Kaminskagia has developed an effective piano teaching method based on the rhythm
of speech, transformation of music principles into interactive examples and humorous approach
that result in long-term learning. As a teacher of music theory she has designed a method where
every music element is tested and experienced directly on the piano.
Miss Kaminskagia is an active performer and composer of piano works
and transcriptions for children. She creates projects that students from an early age experience
expressing themselves on stage. She has received awards in national and international
competitions, performed concerts and collaborated as a soloist with orchestras
across the EU, Ukraine and Russia.
